Why do i get the feeling that when they said "the final battle" that this is the last arc (the Urakai-ish arc i guess)?

Personally for me, by all means i dont think this series should stop yet, too many things have yet to be unexplained/unfulfilled:
Yoshimori's landlord
Sealing/dealing with karasumori
karasumori being a thinking entity
yoshimori's mother <--- that one im really interested about
tokine's training
etc....
(if im missing anything feel free to post it)

It doesnt seem to make sense to end it though, only reason would be that its been decided that the magazine wants it out of the way

But ya, just a feeling/inking/most likely just a paranoia about having good series cut short -cough-Double Arts-cough-

PS: I voted 'No' mainly cause i wish to fight my overly paranoid self and i know im probably wrong XD Anyways just looking for your imputs and ideas/predictions/etc....

yeah, at this point..when this arc is finished, i just cant think of any thing they can do with the story, unless they have a time skip to when Yoshimori's older and some new developments occur, or even have a time skip to the 23rd generation of Legitimate Successors, but i kinda doubt it.....

so yeah, i think this will be the last arc, if is, i'll be a bit sad cuzz i love this manga, but overall it's been great so i'll be satisfied

Well i don't think that will be the last arc for me, i think the autor can find something to start a new arc, like the ougi clan, or the mother of Yoshimori. Or the death of Okuni ( the one who whant to know every thing ) i think it was pretty supicious.

Hmm...No, I don't think that this is going to be the last arc. I'm sure that this arc is almost over, but after they clash with these guys we have to cover what Hiura will do, who exactly was employing Hiura, why he killed Okuni, what is going to happen to the Urukai, why the Ougi clan is doing what they're doing...Why does the commander of the Urukai want it destroyed, who is he exactly. There are TONS of things that have to be covered >_> So sorry for the huge list, but its my way of trying to convince myself that it won't end soon 😀 hahaha

There are many ways with which the story can develop. My two cents on the matter: right now, Yoshimori as a character is a kid that is growing up. In order to balance the story out, I think a grown-up Yoshimori should be the one to beat the current opponents in the story.

Well... we still have the typical way to finish manga... Just let everything hanging and piss the people that spend lots of years reading it 😛 .
