Pages and Edit

Couple minor Suggestions:
I think it would be handy to have Edit preview as well when you post topics in the forums (for the same reason there is preview when you post something for first time)
Also with the current page system it would be nice to have “First” page along with “Last”. For instance if I’m reading a long topic and for some reason want to check the initial post I either need to go back to the forum and click on the topic again, reset the page in the url (something not all readers are aware of) or go through a bit tedious process of clicking through the pages to go back. The page system is global, isn’t it? It would also improve the browsing system of the entries on the site.
Lastly (something irrelevant and entirely subjective) when someone reset “Show # entries per page” in the middle of browsing through entries it makes more sense for him to be brought back to the first page rather than to be left on the current page, since for instance if one is on the last page and say goes from “show 50 entries per page” to “show 100 pages per page” he is left with the page with no entries and have to go back to the first page anyway. Other solution would be just eliminate the empty page by calculating what would be the last page in each case, but still, unless someone want to see first or last page while doing so, it makes no sense to be left on the current page because the titles shift a lot. Anyway, this is more of an observation than anything else.

I absolutely didn't understand your last paragraph...
But if you are talking about getting back to first page on a topic you can click on "[".
On the other hand I do think that a preview and the possibility of seeing the previous posts isn't a bad idea (while editing a post).

I haven't had a chance to read this (i'll read it later, no time now), but if you want to go to page 1 from any page, just hit the "[".

Ah, it didn’t even occur to me to check if the “[“ were clickable, especially since there is “last” link >__<;
Hmm.. since we are on topic of pages, did a small experiment today: "My Lists" will probably need some sort of page system; 200 titles on one page look a bit too much.

Sigh, there's this one person that has 900 items on their wish list. 900 items!!! I can't believe that anyone would have this many items at one time. I could imagine completed manga or unfinished being long, but wish and reading?!
Honestly, I considered doing multiple pages during the design phase, and I figured that it wouldn't be a good idea for the reading list. I figured it might be useful for completed manga or what not, but just didn't get time to implement it. I might implement this as an option, because just as much as you want it, there will probably be 5 other people that don't want it.
I have quickly learned with this project that it is very difficult to please everyone. >_> 🤢

hahaha yes that's very true! i didn't mean it as demand though, more of an observation. Coding a site like this on your own can be pita; been there, done that.

Please let me correct you on this, one:
It's just plain IMPOSSIBLE to please everyone. Even god didn't do that.
And 900 items?!?!?! OMG... and 200 items on the reading list!?!? 😲 😲 😲

Image how much a yaoi fan will suffer with all those short one-volume stories that she hasn’t finish yet? (j/k)

Aight, well it will be a while before I can get around to doing this. School is owning me atm.
Please sit tight.

Um, since it's been so long, I'd like to resuggest having multiple pages for lists.
The thing is, a few of my lists have several thousand series on them, and I feel bad because I don't think it's good to be loading lists that long, so I've already split up the longest of my lists a few ways (by priority, alphabetically, etc.). But even after doing that, I still have lists with over a thousand items on them, and a list like my blacklist (which I have split into five different lists already) is only going to get longer. So, it would be great if I could have pages (say, 100 items per page?) for my wish list and blacklist.
I think that the best way to implement this would be for a user to be able to choose for each list whether to have pages or not, similar to how a user can choose to make each list public or private. After all, some of my lists have less than 100 items, so there's really no point in having multiple pages for them. Also, this way people who would be opposed to having multiple pages won't have to use the feature if they don't want to.
