what were some of the best deaths in anime?

my favorite was

L's death in death note and Ace's death in One Piece

they were well developed. somewhat expected, and was a critical moment of the plotline.

how about u?

Jiraiya's death in Naruto it gave him a honorable send off, it was heartbreaking, and utterly unexpected.
