I prefer the anime, thank god the filler ended 🙂 and it became great again, some people got disappointed when the filler started and decided to steer clear out of naruto for good! well i only gave it a second chance cause i liked it alot but i sure won't give a third chance if another filler starts... 😔

I prefer the manga because it draws me more into the story. But I like the anime for the voices, the fights, the music...

Well that's how I feel about it.

Hum i'm really on edge. I wanna see these last 2 fights between
Spoiler (highlight to view)

naruto and kakuzu and sasuke and orochimaru

animated of course dead

I was a bit disappointed by the fight between orochimaru and sasuke: I really expected a epic battle. Now, it sheemed really short. I hope that the anime brings a longer battle 😁

Oh, this is an easy one.
manga manga manga manga manga manga manga manga manga manga manga manga
the anime is full of fillers... the quality jumps back and forth all over the place... sure it's nice that you can really see the fights happening, but that's about the only advantage to it I really see.
the manga moves pretty slow, but it's always satisfying; also, it's a lot edgier.

Amen to that. imo the Naruto anime is one of the slowest i've seen. The manga have a decent pace, considering the amount of space it has each week in Jump. But the anime it's stretching it to the stupid. I'm almost always prefearing manga above anime 'cause of this, and because of the anime "childishness" I can't explain lol. 😀

In the old naruto (before the time skip), i have to say the manga was much better because the manga had more detail and the anime couldn't counter it with excellent graphics.

But now (after the time skip), i think the anime is better because the graphics are much better. Even though the manga still contains better details, i anime is slightly better.

But that doesn't mean i'll stop reading the manga to let the anime catch-up 😛

I also prefer the Anime, cus it conveys so much more emotions and athmosphere through the music, voices, colour and the animated movement. You can't get that from the Manga. Unfortunately the fillers are crap but if you skip them, your fine.

I dunno. Recently, the Shipuuden anime has been getting on my nerves. They're STILL piling in heaps of unnecessary time-wasting (did we really need a 5-minute scene on the Konoha shinobi receiving the Suna message bird and translating the scroll?) and, although the teaser in episode 1 was absolutely awesome, the animation quality has gone down the toilet in recent episodes. I was particularly unimpressed with the way that the ninja have now learned to fly- in the old days, they at least had to kick off the odd branch but now they just cruise through the air without twitching.

They've also developed an awful habit of drawing everything out as long as physically possible. Has anyone noticed that the figfht between Gaara and Deidara started and finished in 2 chapters in the manga (while still managing to fit in a scene with Naruto and Iruka eating at Ichiraku) while in the anime it lasted 4 whole half-hour episodes? A lot of this was due to the totally wasteful inclusion of the Naruto/Sakura vs Kakashi fight, but even so that's utterly ridiculous.

Speaking of that other fight, there was one quite embarrasing gaffe there. When Naruto used Rasengan to smash the tree Kakashi was hiding behind, he created a clone to do so, even though it is conclusively proven that he can form it with one hand after his 2 years of training (if he couldn't, he should be ashamed of himself, although Oodama Rasengan and the new version are a different matter).

Of course, I'm looking forward to the anime mainly to see the really GOOD fights especially

Sakura and Chiyo vs Sasori and 3-tailed Naruto vs Oroshimaru but I'm not exactly leaping out of my seat to praise it so far.

I'd prefer the manga, cuz sometimes the anime inserts '[b]' and fanservices. IMHO and the art of the manga (especially shippuden) is better than the anime)

I've always gone for manga over anime, because I don't like fillers and because of annoying fanservices. You can get the same emotions from the manga.

I still think that Sasuke is "cute" in his own way after the time skip. But I never really liked him that much to begin with.

And there's a reason that the Sasuke vs. Orochimaru fight was so short. It's not really an important fight to the story. Actually, it shows just how strong Sasuke has gotten, and that he threw Orochimaru away as if Orochimaru had no other purpose left.

I think as long as there aren't any fillers the anime is alright... The fillers were so lame and pointless.. that's when I ditched the anime and started reading naruto instead of watching it 😛

first 135 episodes of naruto were EPIC. fillers killed it. the manga is also sweet though, so thats good.

Manga > anime, easily.

I might change my mind depending on how the fight scenes are animated.

The way that the anime keeps flashbacking and talking forever about stuff we already know about is way frustrating, at least for me. But who knows, maybe the fight scenes will make up for it. At this point thats all I'm looking forward to from the anime.

Manga is soooooo much better that the Anime. Especially now in after the horrible fillers, and the wasted time after the time skip. I can understand the need for fillers, so that we don't end up with DBZ style 10 episode long fights. But that's exactly what they are doing now in Shippuden. I really love Naruto anime, but these last several episodes make me sad in the face. So much wasted time. (How many times did we have to watch the Jinchuriki getting sucked out of Garra? 🤢 Ugghhh!!) I want to barf on myself just thinking about the travesty the naruto anime has become. 😔
