  1. sin(arccos(x)) = the square root of 1-x^2?

  2. cos(arctan(3/x)) = (x) / (the square root of x^2+9)?

Hello everyone! I'm in 2nd year college taking a 1st year calc course. I've been doing ok so far, but I'm really unfamiliar with these two problems. Can someone explain to me how to do it? 🙁

Questions like this should go in Homework Help.

I don't know much calc but there are a lot of people in that thread who seem to know a lot so I'm sure somebody can help you 🙂
