i've been thinking about this for a little bit, and i might as well suggest it here...
how about a title system here, like, underneath the persons Username, it could be either a title for amount of posts, or something the people themselves come up with to have under their username/avatar....
i think that would be quite a nice feature.

Oh, one of the most brilliant ides, that way we can like have a post hierarchy, like till 50 n00b, till 100 a little better n00b and so on, oh and higher than thousand ancient (got it from mams)

I love that Idea. I would like to put my nickname under my avatar.
I also like Chibidoro-sensei (XD) idea, ranking on how many post, but I also think it should increase by just being active. Like logging on everyday, some people just don't like to post a lot.

yea, thats why i was thinking about the first one, so that the admins can come up with the things...

While I think it would be fun, I just think it can be easily abused, especially in a forum like this. I think it will attract more spammers to post more and more useless things just to achieve a certain post count and a new 'title'. It also glorifies people who have high post counts but with no real content whatsoever.

And I'm gonna stop there before I become more obvious about who I'm talking about. wink

We can give custom titles to people, but I don't really want to have anything like this. I think it really doesn't support the forum at all. We've even had multiple discussions about moving the post counts even. So I think for now, we're not going to do this.

Also, the last time it was mentioned, it was also brought up that this would be another reason for people to spam posts.
