I just saw the recently updated chapters and the character Julian made me feel weird. At first, I liked him because he seemed to care a lot for ming lan but now... he seems to be just a psycopath...
What are your thoughts ? Anyone have a theory about what had happened ?

Actually, since I first saw him, I just a feeling that he'd be strange.
I’m not sure about how he was raised, but I felt like he might have been raised without any normal moral principles or the like, given his unusual family background. For example, his butler/henchmen was the one who fulfills every single one of his requests and should be loyal only to him, was the one who tossed Ming Lan away.

Well I saw the last chapters translated and it seems he really loves ming lan but he didn't realize ming lan hates/feares him. You are right, he is not psychologically normal due to his childhood and he doesn't reason like a normal person. This story really became exciting and I think Julian isn't really that powerful
and that's why they took ming lan away from him.
