I'm quite confused as to how Release Frequency for a scanlation group works.

Take our group, The Company as an example.
It says about every 4.7 days.

But lets calculate. We've been around with the new name since beginning of October. So, till today, that's ~47 days. And we've made 37 releases since then. That makes the rate 1.27 releases per day. And we've been somewhat steady at it too. So, where does a number like 4.7 come from?

EDIT: It says every 3 days now.

I don't think it's a bug, but I have always wondered how this is recorded.

I do know that it doesn't average it by the first release, it always changes based on the last two releases (with different dates), I think.

The formula actually takes into account the difference between the days of releases. It's not just a blind # of releases / days since first release
