Is there a way to track special releases/extras?

Lately for me, there have been mangas with "Extra chapters" or "Christmas Specials". I understand that the red number on the side of the manga on my reading list means it had updates. But is there a way for it to say "extra release" or "update". When an extra chapter is scanlated.

I think it would be really handy for people dying for an update on a day or two but doesn't find out that an extra chapter was released that day until wayyyy later.
