I'm looking for these things.

Realistic:
No love at first sight (attraction at first sight is totally okay), no forced love/I will make you fall in love with me by kissing you, and especially no power/control difference between seme and uke (it'd actually be awesome if there was no clear seme and uke role). I want them to love each other with more reasons than just being physically attracted to each other. They should be able to connect on a level that allows them to make fun of each other, cry in front of each other, and forgive each other. The challenges to their love shouldn't be easily overcome by kisses, or be because of misunderstandings. (Like if one of them were straight, that one should struggle with falling in love with a guy.) And seriously, I want a couple who respect each other and has equality in their relationship. (One of them can be richer, of a higher class, or something, it's just that that shouldn't make them the on who is seme or in control of the relationship.)

Quirky:
I'm not exactly sure how I want to describe this, I guess one or both characters don't exactly fit the norm of society and the manga explores this. The manga itself isn't quirky, it's not like this where there are flying pigs, but more like the guy in this.
