I heard you can hack the phone and it works with other providers. But does it work in canada?

I heard about that last year, but did it materialize? That's what I'm not sure about.

I don't know myself; I don't have an iPhone and I will never get one.

But accoring to Wikipedia, the iPhone is avaliable only in the US, Britain, Ireland, France, Germany, and Slovakia (? - not sure about that last one, someone correct me if possible). Canada is on the "announced" list, which means that it'll happen eventually.

YES! lol, yeah... i know tons of people with them (i'm canadian) and they do work.

I'm pretty sure I heard something about them coming to Canada this year on the news... and I think Rogers will be the service provider. Oh joy, gotta love companies with nonexistant customer service.

I dont know about Canada but in America they are coming out with "another" IPhone which will be faster with Internet and texting but is MUCH harder to hack. It will be cheaper too, like 200$. . . So I've heard.
