So a long while back I read a story of a girl who's father is an inventor and made lots of robots. One day she finds a guy or her father presents to her a guy (I don't remember much) that is a robot he made. After spending some time together the both gradually fall in love I think and the robot confesses that he has always wondered about her due to when he was just a small regular robot she cared for him is some way and he was touched and since then he has been looking for that kind person.

I could have made up a lot of the details but the main parts I remember are:
Father inventor
Male robot was once a small robot
That got turned to a guy
Romance

I thought the story was really cute and I would love to read it again so if anyone knows what this is please let me know! I've tried looking everywhere using the robot tag but it hasn't worked:/

I'd say it could be the fourth story Pinocchio Dreams from Kara no Shounen as well...

One important part I forgot to mention is when they first meet. The robot is little and looks like a tin man or your usual robot image with the round eyes and boxy figure. he's left in the snow broken when the girl finds him. She helps him get back on his feet since she can't leave a robot on its own she loves them far too much. It has to do with her father being an inventor and I think the town she lives in is surrounded by robots they are everywhere.

For some reason I'm thinking shiraishi yuki but I've read most of her work and I haven't found it.
