biggest wft moment in my life:
entering this forum... to discover that its full of yaoi...yaoi is not the only "adult" theme out there... why the fuck are there so many people reading this? i'm quite sure that there are not that many gay manga reader out there, to justify the amount of thread here.
You don't like it? Nobody forces you to look/read anything.
Most of those who read yaoi are the female manga readers.
What justification do you want? That people like sex and romance?
Damn, what's with the people...
...
Anyways, I had a WTF moment today. I wanted to watch that cute animated movie Ratatouille again, so I decided to download it. I had a torrent link, and an emule link. So I turn the video on, and what do I see?
That's right. Porn.
And not just any porn, porn with fugly old hags... Couldn't they at least put a porn that people would enjoy?
Like from that other time I downloaded a movie, and it turned out to be porn too. But at least it was regular porn...
... .
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

I think he meant discussion and request threads.
If so, I agree with him.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
too much yaoi requests as of late. 😔
If that's what he meant then I agree. I do like reading yaoi but sometimes I think this forum would be more organized if there was an actual forum for yaoi/yuri/hentai. There's an awful lot of request for yaoi/hentai manga and discussions as well--and yes I know you can just ignore them but they take up most of the topic pages.
I don't understand why there isn't one yet when there seems to be more topics for yaoi and hentai then for shounen/seinen and shoujo/josei.
Ah but I love yaoi don't get me wrong 😀 . Just wish you could discuss it more um... 'openly' I guess.

If the forums had seperate sections for yaoi, yuri and hentai rather than just grouping them under 18+ and then allowing us to block those sections...I think there would be more happiness around here 😛
edit: oh, just realized this is all out of topic...erm
A recent WTF moment for me was when Anya lost to Tear in this year's motemote battle >3<

and Keanu Reeves wanting to play Spike Spiegel for the live action of Cowboy bebop
No, Stop it.
Stop them.I've given up on my hopes for a good live action Lupin the third.
When you think about it is obvious that this would happen. Go search up Japanese Ninja Turtles, Powerpuff Girls Z or really any western cartoon in Japanese. They bastardize our stuff, so guess we do it too.
Super Mutatioooon! ...lol what were the producers smoking
I dunno, but I totally want some.
Seriously though, people with devices that allow people to transform have been around forever in Japan storytelling. I think what happens is people get confused, making a good story into a formula for writing. 😔

There's LOTS of hentai on here that isn't yaoi. Your problem is that you're not looking hard enough.
Just want to say dont forget yuri its also aldut stuff isnt it 😛
there isn't even half as much yuri as there is yaoi 🤢

This will probably be dumb as hell but....
One of the biggest wtf moments I've had actually
happened today. Me, my mom, and my sister were
supposed to be going to look for houses for rent to own
or an apartment and instead my mom decided she wanted
to go grocery shopping. Well we went to Food Lion and half way
through shopping she decided she wanted to just put everything
back and go to Aldi's. I was so confused and like 'wtf why'

wtf moment...
one morning, i got out of bed and collapsed to the floor. i could feel my legs and move them, but i couldn't balance on them and walk. they weren't asleep either.
anyways after the initial shock, i crawled to the bathroom to brush my teeth, occasionally attempting to stand up on the way there. i dunno why i didn't freak out and go to my parents. too early in the morning?
as soon as i pulled myself up to sink level, my mom walked over and spotted me sliding up the sink. she said "what the heck are you doing? stand up!" i did as she said and voila! i could walk again.
i never did figure out why my legs didn't work right that morning. :/

My work computer died last week, so I had to get a new one & get it running, generally not a problem. Got the new computer, took the old wireless ethernet adapter thingy out of the old computer, put it in the new computer; turns out it's too old so I had to go get a new one.
Open the box, wireless ethernet thingy looks just like I'd expect, the usual installation disk is there, and then there's an Installation Guide booklet plus a separate single sheet with instructions.
Single sheet says, "IMPORTANT!!! First install your hardware, then insert the disk & install software" followed by step-by-step instructions.
Ok, that's pretty normal, but just in case, I read the Installation Guide.
Installation Guide says "STOP!!! Software MUST be installed before you install hardware" followed by step-by-step instructions.
.......
It took almost ten minutes on the phone with the company's customer service to get a straight answer about whether hardware or software should be installed first. 🤢 (Hardware first, if anyone cares.)

What was his initial response when you told him/her what the instructions said?

A moment of blank silence, then she insisted on getting my name, company name, email address, date of purchase, model number of the adapter, serial number of the adapter, and I think a few other pieces of information too. 🤢 At the end she did say something about "making a note of the problem", which is probably something they're trained to say to get people to leave them alone. 🙄

🤣 yea I'm pretty sure it is.
I don't think I ever read the installation guide. (Must take note.)
I wonder how many people had the same problem and didn't bother to call to check which installation goes first. Does it really matter though?

Actually I have no idea if it really mattered which was installed first, but both sets of instructions were soooo adamant about DO NOT DO IT THE OTHER WAY that it seemed like it ought to matter! 🤣
After all the crap I've had to wade through over the last week or so with rescuing data from the old comp, getting the new one set up, installing programs & upgrades, transferring the old data, etc. etc. etc. the last thing I wanted to deal with was some backwards installation that messed up the whole computer and/or made it impossible to go online for another week. 🤢 (Just to clarify, a lot of my work is done through email, so not being able to go online is a big problem.)

Well, people like complaining and comparing bad/strange experiences I guess.
