Once upon a time I was a movie geek, of the trek out to see a movie on my own if need be variety, and then school/work/research (my non-voluntary activities) got in the way. I'm also a robotics geek, but it's very school based at the moment so it's borderline non-voluntary.

Outside of that, browsing slashdot and some travel (my mom loves to go places), museums, operas (mostly Russian, yet I still can't understand a word) and ballets (actually going to one tomorrow night, but using this one for school). And yeah reading, lots of reading, two or three books at a time reading-though I'd get in a lot more reading if I didn't watch anime on my commute.

Though currently most of my time is taken up with apartment hunting. Nothing quite so fun as convincing myself that a closet (one with few/no real closets) is worth the insane price asked. (or the even crazier requirements that seem to be prevalent in the NYC housing market.)

School, video games, drawing, and on occasion venture into the fabled land of 'outdoors' to go horse riding =P

Meh, mostly the things I do that aren't manga/anime related are things like painting, photography, bicycling and running. Occasionally on the weekend I'll do volunteer docent work at the mint museum in the city, but other than that, I do nothing.

I write my own stories. I also read a lot. The genre I'm reading a lot these days are speculative fiction.

I also watch CSI, NY is my fave series so far. And also I watch some Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon from time to time.

Now that we're on school holiday, I get more time on house so I also take a swim. Although the water is sometimes so coooold. ^0^
