I hate the bad guys who used
to be good but changed to bad
because of some very stupid reason
(friend(20th century boys), Ryuga(kenichi),e.t.c)
and also the bad guys that instantly turn good
after they get their asses kicked by the hero
(happens in a lot of shounen)

I put other. I hate characters that have almost no emotion at all. They're just there and say a few things every now and then. They like, contribute nothing as a character alone. But some times they would be thrown into the mix of things because of their connection to another main character. The best example I could think of is Karasuma from School Rumble. He's just there most of the time. If it wasn't for Tenma being in love with him, he would be nothing. I can't stand characters like him.
Also, I wouldn't really characterize Luffy as someone who thinks he's all that. Luffy is more of a sutpid/annoying character. He literally is stupid, as in actually stupid. But when he fights he goes from being this complete idiot, to this guy that won't stop until he beat you half to death. He never comes off as someone who thinks he's the best. He just wants to be the best so he can protect those around him. And besides, most of the time, he's eating or doing something complete useless. So, he would probably fall under the stupid/annoying category.

Quote from Crenshinibon
I don't particularly hate whole archetypes. I guess for me the best response is "I hate undeveloped, generic and stereotypical characters".
I'm kind of like that, but with a specific type of underdeveloped characters-I hate the ones who don't seem to have any personality whatsoever. Cardboard bishies in shoujo are a good example, but I've seen plenty of female characters that seem to be almost acting their roles-just there 'cause the story requires it (which yes, is a necessary part of all fiction, but good authors make the character feel organic to the story/part of the story world)-it's bad if the mangaka can't even sell that a fictional character is buying into their role.
it wasn't for Tenma being in love with him, he would be nothing
except the really weird kid who's permanently zoned, but in a different way from the other chars-there's something there/

Anyone with a harem - I think a main character with a harem probably has a good number of qualities that I dislike.

i really hate the situation where the bad guys kidnap somebody right in front of the main characters and they just stand there watching them; and then after the bad guys leave, then they're like OMG, and waste a whole arc saving their ass.

You forgot in the list the clumsy and naive girl who is supposed to be very cute just because she keeps falling in the ground all the time and never knows what's going on.
I have never been able to understand how the lack of common sense and ability to walk for more than 5 meters adds to the sex appeal of female characters.

I HATE Wimpy Crybaby characters. Any at all. They bug the CRAP outta me, and should all go to hell. (Ex.. Raki from Claymore, and almost any Shojo girl.)

Well for me is, so dang and stupid characters, but in love

right in front of him that has feelings for him.

i hate overpowered characters, although i love to see them topple over after someone outsmarts or just overpoweres them! =3
Best example?
Sasuke - An overpowered emo bastard >.> The bish even backstabbed his friends!
And you just know he's gonna lose in the end.. otherwise i shall personally stab the authors eyes out with a rusty shovel!

hate mostly harem guys, where they can never decide and where the world is so wonderful and surreal that the females never get the idea to go after other people, hell there are usually no other male characters in harems other then the lead and some u know will never get any of em.
But just have to say Clannad suprised me there, he is more mature and u actually know who he wants and other way around.
Only harem anime iv'e seen i can't get enough of.

Stupid/annoying characters would be my pick. Rosario+Vampire is full of them and its main character, Tsukune Aono, is the dumbest, weakest, over emotional and most pathetic character I've seen in quite some time.
