Are you planning on watching or attending the 2010 French Open? If so, who are you rooting for? And does anyone feel disappointed that del Potro won't be participating to defend the title?

I might... but I prefer Wimbledon.

As for whom I'm rooting for, I not rooting for anyone in particular; though, I'd be surprised if someone other than Nadal or Federer were to win... Nadal is pretty good on clay, and Federer has won half the tournaments he's been in for the last 2-3 years.

What I'd like to see is those two going up against the William's sisters. Yes, I know that is impossible nor do they play in pairs, but I don't care. I want to see it.

I'm sort of hoping Nadal (finally back to #2 ^^) will at least make it to the finals this year after upsetting everyone (myself included) and having to withdraw due to injuries last year. He seems to be doing extremely well in all the smaller tournaments leading up to this one (knees seem to be good and I think he has the most wins from what I've read) while Federer has sort of confined himself to the practice courts (that seems to work for him though). I would love to see Andy Roddick do well also, but I just can't see him making past the quarter finals.

It would be nice to see a #1 (Federer) vs #2 (Nadal) for the finals again.

my bad if I am wrong but didn't del potro win the US open, he hasn't won the roland garros so don't know how hez missing out on defending the title. Anyways am definetly watching the roland garros even though its my least favourite out of the 4 grand slams...hoping to see the maestro Federer at his best.

Potro dropped out in the semis last year and Federer went on to win it massacring Söderling (who deserved a beating for upsetting everyone and knocking Nadal out 🤢 ).

The French Open has always been one of my favorite slams; it is always nice to see people sliding around and watching the chair umpires have to get off their chairs to check those close calls. The rallies do tend to get a little drawn out and slightly boring at times though I suppose.

My least favorite(s) are the two hard court tournaments, and like Toto Wimbledon is probably my favorite as well.
