Hi guys, i came here different months ago asking for modification on the website to make it more user friendly, the admin (sorry i don't remember the name! :< ) said that you were working on it, so i thought there would have been a huge update of the site (maybe even a redesign) in few time.

after some months i've seen nothing has apparently changed in the look, structure & functions of the site.

So i thought coming here asking about it.
Are you still working on it?
and if, how long will it take to complete your rebuild of baka-updates?
could you time to time post some info on the work in progress?

It's not like we have a dedicated team of people working on coding the site. It's only me, and I'm currently a 5th year senior in college getting a double major. I don't exactly have all the time in the world. Cut me some slack. I code when I have time, which isn't exactly right now.

Think about it this way. I really get nothing out of doing this site but the knowledge that its helping some people out there. If I can spend my (sparse) free time doing something that will benefit me more, like studying, or perhaps spending time with my family, I'm going to do that versus spending an incredible amount of time making a new feature.

I will get to all the suggestions eventually. It just might take a long time.

Don't stress it so much. theres been a lot of changes if u actually took the time to look, such as the genres and mangaka section. and dont forget the beautiful forums which u are writing ur suggestion in....

Don't sweat it Manick. We get people like that all the time. Dude you own this joint flame him for god's sake. And Kaya, its not that what you said is offensive, but the way you said it seems like you pay them to work on the site or something. Next time be more tactful man.

I think a lot of good changes were made...i see no problems with the layout...pretty straight forward and user friendly to me... 😎
