I could be wrong but isn't the technology behind Gantz is originally from the Aliens (they were feeding the info into that fat daughter)? And since they knew of Kurono's identity, it could be that only Kurono was being summoned (since it only showed Kurono being transported and not all of them).

true but when they were showing his face i thought it was more of him being reported "wanted list" or something.
about the technologies i'm still thinking this whole set up is some tiny hunting t.v show alien somewhere

Yup, he was the only one reported so maybe he was the only one being transported. Maybe they'll take him to where the aliens are... maybe in their ship. Since the clone Kurono also has the same DNA, he could have been transported as well.

I agree with you. I don't think there is any purpose behind the battles that Kurono and the gang participated in, except maybe to train them... to make the game more exciting when they did start their annihilation. The aliens seems more like civilians that were given guns than militant personnel.
