The eleventh Evangelion's tankoubon was released almost three weeks ago (06/19) and the story has almost reached its peak. We are already in EoE's territory and after twelve years at last we will know how Sadamoto would end the story. The problem is that he has the horrible habit of taking long breaks between released volumes. The last one lasted a year so I really hope that he does not do the same this time around.
So, how do you think the manga will end? Will be the same as the anime or it will despict an ending like the one in the Evangelion 64 game, where Shinji prevented the 3rd impact?

Stage 72: "The Final Messenger" ~27 pages
Stage 73: "The boundary line that has been arrived at" ~28 pages
Stage 74: "Memories in the Palm of One's Hand" ~28 pages
Stage 75: "Imperfect Hearts" ~26 pages
Stage 76: "The Final Enemy" ~15 pages
Stage 77: "The Final Enemy - Part II" ~12 pages

The tenth volume only had 174 pages and this one has even less (168 pages: 164 of manga plus the extras). I wonder if at this pace we will get to see the end anytime soon...

i do not know what to say... but i hope it is not as complicating as the anime though...

Perhaps he is running out of ideas.
But I agree, Instrumentality Project cannot be depicted in the manga any better than it was in the anime so try EoE ending instead?
So for certain, the 11th volume has been released in Japan? Wish I understood Japanese 😕 (Scanlation please 🙂 )

Anyone out there know if volume 12 is out yet? Or are there any chapters into volume 12 yet? I really wanna see how this ends, and I figure volume 12 will end it.

I'm seriously considering picking this up again, but I don't know, the anime ending was pretty bad.
