Hello everyone, I have been having some trouble searching out manga and anime of a certain type b.c I am unsure of what they are categorized under. If someone could let me know what title or tag I should be searching under, I would be extremely grateful.

I have been looking for something with both a male & female protagonist that are on equal footing. Meaning, they both have strengths and weaknesses, but neither give off a feeling of surpassing one another. Instead they come off as a dynamic duo(?) who play on each others strength and weaknesses.

Is there a tag, a word, or something for that? Anything that would help me search for a anime or manga like that.

I don't really know any anime or manga, but I think the only one that came close to what I am asking was:

The Legend of the Legendary Heroes - Ferris Eris & Ryner Lute, both capable adventurers who are often in sync. They are strong in their respective fields, the feeling that one is overshadowing the other isn't really there unless you count Ryners eye (which speaking anime strictly, is not something he can control) so I don't feel it overshadows his partner.

So in simple words, I am looking for a tag or word to help me find anime/manga featuring a male and female duo who don't overshadow each other in abilities, but instead play off of each others strengths and weaknesses.

P.S. - The dynamics between the characters can be intellectual, physical abilities, powers, or as simple as characteristics that play off each other well. So if you know any word that can help me narrow it down, like how we have a tag for "Human-Nonhuman Relationship" it would be of much help.

'strong female leads' are rarer
I bet you could start with that and see if any series have the same for the boys (which are a dime a dozen)
