The manga is actually good or normal until volume 5 then it get weirder
I like the manga until then but damn some crazy stuff happen lol though i managed reading until volume 9

She almost got rape (PORN) by an old man in volume 9 and the other guy got stab with a knife to save her. The weird part is that she left him to go to some sort of party but hes fine though on the next day LOL

I read a few seinens before but it was mild though.
Was just shocked how the story unfolds when the first 5 volumes is fine and normal

Her creepy roommate tried to rape her, she beat the crap out of him and ran away, then changed rooms. Done. The former roommate came back one or maybe two times later, but was more a comic relief character by that point...

The overall ambiance of the manga is sunshine and rainbows if you compare it to Berserk.

I'm not far yet (Ch. 92), but this indeed turns creepy, wow... I didn't really see it coming. The fired ex-teacher taking his revenge was to expected for a while already, but that became much darker than I thought.

I think Okamoto did a bad job with the staging to be honest (like that knife lying around randomly at one point 😕 ). It was intense in a way, but I think that's only because it's still Nono I sympathise with. The panels seemed too akward partially.
Oh, and especially with that ski jumper returning to Japan (that guy everyone's scared of). The fighting scene looked so bad...

I'm a little sad for the series with these latest (translated) chapters. I don't have a problem with the story turning dark, but Okamoto seemed to have pushed his luck with the often mediocre arts and staging by attempting such an intense/cruel arc. The plot would have required a much better execution imo.

It's not like the arts and enactment were different than usual. But so far it was suitable for the atmosphere, and especially the ski jumping parts looked very well this way. For topics like crime, violence, fighting and such depressive, hard emotions and moments, Nononono had required a certain change of style imo.
