When I think about who I like more, kaname or Zero..It's so hard!!!! I like both, Kaname because he's the so called "boss", cool, with a bad-site, good-looking, but Zero is Zero, you have to love him!! So the best would be Kaname and Yuki and I get Zero :-P^^

He's not THAT emo, and the reason he is, is because he hates vampires. He lost his family to a vampire who turned HIM into a vampire. He hates what he has become and he's been fighting it for 4 years. Now he hates himself. He's a vampire hunter, but he's a vampire himself. How do you think that makes him feel? Plus, he's the lowest of the low. Any time now, zero will fall to a level E. He's got no chance (although I'm sure as they put out more chapters, SOMETHING will happen) of ever becoming anything else. I feel so bad for him. He thinks drinking blood is disgusting, but he has to anyway. I mean, can you imagine? He hunts his own kind. He comes from a family of vampire hunters and he has to live up to that no matter what. He has no choice. 🙁 Poor zero!

I also think Zero is the better choice because he loves her for her. If Yuuki was never a pureblood, would Kaname still love her? I think he just needs her to keep the purebloods going. She would do anything to protect Zero, and as much as zero needs her blood, he wouldn't do anything to hurt her. his love for her isn't that obvious, such as kaname's is, but i think zero truly loves her. i still love kaname but its just too weird.

I vote for Yuki x Zero. Zero is much cooler looking than kaname. I think kaname is headed down the crazy road like his uncle. Also I think if yuki was to choose zero over kaname he would actually try to kill her and zero rather than let them be together too. So I think if we are to have a Yuki x Zero ending kaname will probably have to die. 😃 🙂

recently picked up this series again

after volume 9, things got real interesting ~

<3 kaname x yuki...not many fans for that pairing around here anymore, ever since yuki was discovered to be his sister....i usually abhor incest, but in the cases of pure-blood vampires, i don't think it's such a sinister thing to marry your own sibling....it's pretty logical when you think about it, as how else would they be able to keep their bloodline uncontaminated with the pathetic human's blood ( 🙁 ) ....like haruka and juuri (another lovely couple), as long as they love and desire and care deeply for each other on a non-platonic/brotherly/sisterly level, i think kaname is the only one that can bring happiness to yuuki

i'm sick of zero...his self-denial, self-righteous, and incredibly hipocritical personality sickens me...yuuki also lost her parents to the pure-blood....you don't see her going around declaring an extermination of all pure-blood vampires...yes, it's true that she is also one of them, but zero isn't any better, he's a level D for god sake...i don't see how he can be the protagonist of the series when he keeps acting thoughtlessly on personal grudges and feelings while making it clear that he plans to wipe out the whole population of innocent vampires instead of just focusing on the bad ones...i'm also fed up with his continuing, sanctimonious preaching about how all vampires are the same, how all they want to do at the end is to drink your blood, etc & etc...his close-mindedness and narrow view of the world in the two distinct colors of black and white is extremely frustrating, too...

kaname, on the other hand, has been manipulating people ever since his youth...ultimately, however, he only did it with the purpose of protecting yuuki and ensuring a better future for her as a pure-blood vampire....i think he's the most pitiful character in the series, yet the one least sympathized by the readers, just because he has an air of omniscient-cy around him.....i think yuuki had been loving him as a man to woman kind of attraction since she was young....they will be able to gain happiness together, as kaname is much more selfless than zero, the bastard who keeps sucking yuuki's blood and making her worry about him....

if the author planned the zero x yuuki pairing in the second arc, i would be so pissed...in fact, i probably would never read the story again and just stick with kaname x yuuki fanfictions 🤢

ps: kaname is waaaay hotter than zero (i have a thing for long-haired, slightly-sadistic guys [rido = hot])

I think you are right about yuki & kaname they will stay together, but I don't think zero is so bad or psycho (I am a zero fan, he is too cool) 😀 😀
on the other hand kaname is also big sadist and bloody murderer I have on my mind the council, even if he did 99% everything to protect yuki, zero also protected her countless times like kaname who protected her most the time from the shadows.
About your comment about zero being a "selfish bastard" for drinking yuki's blood I wil not denny It but you can't compare him to other vampires he was made into an vampire and endured it for 4 years kaname also said it must take an enormous willpower to refrain himself even if it failed that very night he said it, this is the main reason why zero and yuki will not be together. They have done many thinks that can't be forgiven like zero drinking yuki's blood, it was probably 4 times he started (I don't remember the exact number although I read Vampiure knight 3 or 4 times and watched the anime multiple times) the rest was we could say yuki's pressure and she admitted it wasn't entirely selfless act after she almost strangled him and he didn't defend himself she said she wanted to be neccesary for someone.
What you said about yuki loosing her parrents - in fact only her dad died by rido's hands her mother could survive but she used her life to make yuki into a human girl and make her forget her past, so only the fact she was attacked by that one vampire thats pretty much everything what happened to her, the rest expect her amnesia was quite a happy family life with chairman cross ,kaname and latter zero, zero on the other hand before his own eyes lost his parents to a pureblood who drunk his blood and took his twin who was happy rather happy about the death of his parrents and then when he got to live vith chairman he had to endure another pureblood, pacifists cross and yuki a human girl in love with a pureblood, knowing he is no longer human It had to be quite a torture.
We can say he want to kill all purebloods to prevent destruction of families like his.
P.S. But in my opinion he had enough of the constant deception, lies and half truths (if i was him when he found out the truth about yuki I would get a heart attackor shoot myself) and orders by vampires so his is going to pay them back kaname top priority, revenge is so sweet. 🤣 😀 😛

Chapter 47 rules maybe she has some sort of feellings for zero as shown a few times before 😕 ( what sort of feelings is a mystery for her and for me even more, maybe brother?NO, I dont' think so if I compare her behavior towards kaname her real brother and fiance 😕 ) but what happened can no longer be changed as the fact one is a pureblood princess and the other is something else. If yuki and zero would end up together it would be totaly unexpected for me at least I don't know what unexpected events would the autor need to do to make it happen. 😲
