I'm looking for any shounen ai/yaoi manga that will make you feel the same way that playing Stardew Valley or watching your childhood Ghibli movies can make you feel: cozy, warm, nostalgic and safe. it doesn't have to be super innocent or super sweet, it's more about the lazy, welcoming mood. the kind of mood that makes you want to curl up with a cup of cocoa, cover yourself with a thick sweater and read with your cat cuddled up next to you.

I know this description kinda sounds insane but that's the best way I can describe the whole "wholesome" thing. Stardew Valley. Joe Hisaishi music. sun beams through the leaves. simpler times.

I know exactly the sort of feeling you mean, and I think that Moon Trick fits this request perfectly! 🙂 There's a bit of good-natured silliness with the premise and a little bit of 'danger' on occasion as well, but overall it's unbelievably adorable and gives that warm fuzzy feeling for sure (or it did for me at any rate, LOL).

Mmmm one that comes to mind is Monte Carlo no Ame by Kumota Haruko -- it's probably one of my favorite oneshots ever for the reasons you describe 🙂
