I started the anime, and would like to know 3 main things:

1. Are there any major discrepancies between the manga and the anime?
2. Is the anime ahead of the manga?
3. I saw the title of episode 483 and I'm devastated already over what becomes of Ace. Does anyone know if farther ahead, there might be something to revive him?

1. Yes, the fillers and extended scenes within the main plotline (e.g., all those antics about 'Buggy-sama, Coby's endless whining, Hancock's excessive fantasies). 'Personally, I find the extended scenes.. unnecessary and sometimes, destroy the character.

2. No. The manga is currently in Fishman island arc while the anime is still running the Marineford arc.

3. No. If so, I'll be dissapointed. His death is too important to be just 'temporary'. 😔
