all the main characters die you wouldn't really think of it happening given the generes present in the story, but there is a bit a tragedy here and there, though most of it is comedy, even though some of the comedy is slightly based on an individual or two dying. This is like a fantasy korean drama...i new it had to be uber depressing eventually.

Not that I think that someone like this one to the point of were such information destroys their reading experience but i still think you should say that its and ENDING SPOILER

I suppose you're right^ but the author decided that to be the definitive ending, so regardless of the manga, that's what happens. The story is good, but the pacing is extremely bad.

That regis knight's husband get's burned alive...she's sad for 1 chapter [not even] and then forgets that he exists, at least the author does. I still read the manga, but it follows a lot of korean manwha cliches...such as...a majority of women having outrageous proportions. Sadly...to this day the greatest manwha IMO remains to be PRIEST...such a pity that it's on haitus indefiinitely...and that stupid fake movie adaptation that would induce abortions

Does The Legend of Maian even have a light novel? I can't find anything to prove that there is a Light novel, all I can find is

Well I did find a word doc that was said to be the novel but how am I to know that it's real and not fake.

Well, that's what i got from a forum post of manga fox. due to rules of this forum, you have to go and check it out yourself. It may not have been a light novel though, maybe an actual novel, since it seems there was only one.

It does have a light novel, I have the entire light novel in .txt file, but it's raw, so I'm not sure what happens in the end, but yeah, it does have a light novel.

just hope it doesnt follow the novel route.
i've asked a friend who read the novel, he mentioned it being way more darker and crueler than the manwha(yes, he said its that bad), i kinda wanted to drop the manwha after hearing him say that... i wished there wasnt a novel to begin with...

Well, considering vol 10's shocking ending

it seems like the rumour may be true. But then, Maian and the little girl are alive and going to have a new group of companions so i doubt everyone of these guys will die as well
