Hello,
I am interested in applying for the position of J-E translator. I have no prior experience in translating Japanese manga and, although I can read and understand Japanese within the confines of manga, I can only translate manga with furigana. I am not very good at reading kanji without the help of furigana.
I am not perfect, and I'm still learning Japanese, but I am willing to help out.
Personally, I also want the experience of being faced with Japanese text, and the motivation to push myself further in learning Japanese.
