My question is for you girls. What do you and your group of friends talk about during 'girl talks?'

We talk about how crappy men are and why everything bad that happens to us starts with men!! I kid, I kid~ 😛

Girl talks are just a support group. We advice each other on what to say or do when you like a guy, break-up with a guy, try to get a guy, and so on...and of course we talk about what not to do in order to not make fools of ourselves. We talk about anything being work our sex life, or lack of one. I for one, find girl talks a comfort zone since you can freely express yourself and your needs which may or may not be similar, either way other opinions are always taken into consideration.

Oh and maybe you should edit your first comment, the mod was just doing his job, and he was even nice about it

Heh, I wonder if guy talks are the same. I'm pretty sure they don't just talk about sex. What do guys talk about during 'guy talks'?

Lol ill answer your question from my life view...Well my talks with my friends are pretty much the same except its the other way around we talk about if this girl likes me or if i should ask her out...we dont talk about sex because the guys i hang out with keep it to them selfs we dont really talk about it its kinda to personal...but yea pretty much the same.

Well in my case is hardly the same... If you ask for advise you will get it, but you better be ready for harsh words, specially if you make the group waste their time (IE ask advise and yet don't do anything)...

Anyway, most of the talks begin with random crap, like how badly you did in a class, or how someone annoys the heck out of you, after that the talk usually evolves in a topic that may or may not involve sex, there is always the occasional "make fun of lesser beings" time in with unpopular people or popular wannabes are degraded even more... oh wait, that is when the girls are around... you mean just guys? errr we make fun of people and help each other.

Let me clear this up.
I mean no disrespect to the mod. They do their job and I'm grateful for it. Mods do hard work. I run a forum myself, so I know how it is.
I just get annoyed at people who act like it's their job to do that stuff. The close minded dimwits who lurk in every forum.

@Luna-san
Ouch. Can't say I blame you though. Guys can be jerks. Don't let the bad ones give us all a bad name, k? 😃

@moritana-san
That's interesting... I do appreciate the honesty.

I ask all this cause I'm writing a novel, and I have a few instances where there's need for 'girl talk' and it's sometimes hard to think like a girl, lol.

Gah, I should dig up my old diaries, where I could go on for 14 pages about absolutely nothing but a guy looking straight at me for 2 seconds, and send copies them to you. Then you can see how 14 year olds really think, and the meaning they give to most minute of details.

I look back on it now and wonder how the hell I wrote so much about nothing.

I'm saving them for any daughters I may have, just for grins. =)

Quote from Dr. Love

A woman has a close male friend. This means that he is probably interested in her, which is why he hangs around so much. She sees him strictly as a friend. This always starts out with, you're a great guy, but I don't like you in that way. This is roughly the equivalent for the guy of going to a job interview and the company saying, You have a great resume, you have all the qualifications we are looking for, but we're not going to hire you. We will, however, use your resume as the basis for comparison for all other applicants. But, we're going to hire somebody who is far less qualified and is probably an alcoholic. And if he doesn't work out, we'll hire somebody else, but still not you. In fact, we will never hire you. But we will call you from time to time to complain about the person that we hired.

Agreed or disagreed? That that is what happens.

Disagreed (at least in my case) been friends with this girl for at least 16 yrs (im 18) ive had a crush on her since i can remember (nothng b4 mid school lol) i finally asked her out last yr and we have been together for 10 months now.

it is possible to get out depending on the person. and ur personality. or i just may be REALLY lucky lol (knocks on wood)

I am female and the one who keeps it to herself. I think it's personal. But if my friends want to talk about their relationships, it's up to them but I usually won't keep the conversation very long. 🤣 I don't see the point of asking for opinion but if others ask for mine, I'll do my best but like to make it brief and clear. Don't we have anything else to talk about except sex and relationships? I have a lot.

Guy's talks? I dunno. I'm more of the quiet guy that gets to hang out because I'm funny when I decide to open my mouth, so I don't do much participating. I do see a lot of metaphorical dick waving though. My friends spend lots of time trying to impress each other, whether it be through jokes or relationships with women or whatever. When drama encroaches everybody gets sucked up in that though. Especially if the 'ringleader' is the subject of interest.

You don't need to know what goes on, because in a sentence, it's entirely forgettable.

To both genders: What's the worst(stupid, disturbing, craziest, etc...) thing a guy/girl has said while in bed? Doesn't necessarily mean before or after sex, btw.

A guy once said to me (after making out):"Babe, you're more passionate than a cockroach is when giving birth."

Hmm. O.o.....never had any 'close sexual or intimate' encounters b4.

I didn't know cockroaches could display passion. 😕

Plus, I'm pretty sure they lay eggs. 🤨

and they lay eggs in cases. They're prolly laying eggs like taking a big dump out of their bodies. How can that be 'passionate'. It's a turn-off xD

What a weird guy you got there. O__O;;;;

I second that last statement. Either he REALLY sucks at coming up with endearing analogies, or he somehow finds reproductive cockroach dumping sexy.
Either way, you lose. o_o

Agreed.
But if your not interested in me, than I'ma burn that bridge.
I don't have time to be stuck in the friend zone.
