um...would you guys really want to drop all contact with an ex?? i mean, i can totally understand why, but...hmm idk. it doesn't seem harsh but at the same time it does. does that make sense?? oh dear, i just confused myself. @_@
I'd say it's a very situational thing. It's certainly not necessary in every case, or even most cases, but I think that sometimes it's required for one or both of the people to move on.

If I were planning on getting a new gf then I would definitely consider it. Personally I would feel uncomfortable if my girlfriend was "friends" with an ex-boyfriend of hers; especially if they used to have a sexual relationship.

Yes, I would not want to have anything to do with an ex anymore. I think being 'friends' would be a bad idea, as we both wouldn't like seeing the other with a new lover. It is said that Men and women can't be friends; you're either in or you're out. Playing tug-of-war doesn't help anybody.

Although I'm in a relationship, I still maintain a nice friendship with someone I was sort of in a relationship with before. It really depends on the person. I have close friends who keep good friendships with their exes, while other friends choose to cut all contact.
Also, I was in the same situation as you. I've been best friends with this guy friend of mine, and he told me he liked me a couple times over the course of two years, but I could only see him as a friend. In the end it worked out though, because now he has his girlfriend and I have my boyfriend. And we're still the best of friends. (:

Pika.

You are like the dense main character in a shoujo manga.

And you will murder someone one day, pika. If you're my daughter.

Im curious ... is really that bad if u say to ur partner that u don't enjoy sex with him?? i mean it isn't better to talk about it and try to fix it, or do you feel insulted and prefer not to mention this at all?

I don't know the situation but I'd say if he did he probably still does so and just found a way around his innate jealousy. It all comes down to the question: who is more important to him, you or his GF?

Lol, don't worry, he only sees me as a friend now. xD It's been a loooong while since he told me he liked me, and both of our lives are so busy that we have barely even talked to each other since years ago (he's been doing medical school in Miami, FL, while I'm doing undergrad in some state on top of Texas).
EDIT:
(I forgot to sign, so...)

just my thoughts.
besides....it sounded like you still see each other frequently.besides that, basically I just meant that feelings like that for your "best friend" won't just vanish like that and just be sparked again at any time.
I was once in a similar situation, too, and was okay with her not seeing me that way. we don't talk to each other anymore though because she did something a friend shouldn't do in my opinion

Question for guys.
Which is worst: Being introduced to her family or introducing her to your family?
(The answer may seem obvious, but I’m still going to ask.)

I'm gonna have to go with being introduced to her family. I'm awkward around people as it is but to be introduced to the person who you might possibly spend the rest of you life withs family. I can only imagine the chaos of that situation.
Introducing her to my family would be a walk in the park. They would just be happy I'm with somebody so I wouldn't see any problems with that situation.

I'd go for the opposite.

Guys, what’s the worst date (for you) to go on, but think girls enjoy?

Well I'm honestly not sure about other guys takes on these situations but these are the ones I could think of.
Maybe something in a formal setting. I'm not so big on formalities. They stress me out making me think whether or not I'm gonna make a mistake and embarrass whoever I'm with.
Also maybe seeing a chick flick. So hopefully my date is a nerd so we can go see some film that we can both geek out over. Conversation afterwords would be so much better too. 😛
