Smart is more important than funny for me. I don't even mind having a partner who isn't funny, but he definitely should be smart. I like talking about very deep stuff and have conversations where we can learn from each other. I'd like someone who has his own perspective on issues and society, who's opinionated, knows about the world he lives in, and not someone who "just doesn't care as long as it's fun". Plus, you can't solve your problems in life and your relationship problems by just being funny.
And...to the previous question: I don't smoke and I'm not sexually active, so I can't answer that. 😛

Not sure. I'd prefer a balance of both. As long as they are not dumb I suppose I might choose funny. Someone who can make me laugh and doesn't take life too seriously is attractive. Sometimes I need to loosen up so it's a good counter balance of personalities.
