Ok question for the guys. Would you like a girl to tell you she likes you? and say you don't feel the same does it become akward for you afterwards?

hmm well if a girl did tell me she liked me then i would really appreciate the person's feelings towards me and thus if i dont have the same feelings i will have to tell the girl that i dont have the same feeling for her but if she would like to hang out and stuff then id be more than happy to be her friend, i really wont feel that awkward afterward..and maybe ill come to like her after hanging out with her (u never know XD 😃 )

ya definitely tell a guy if you like him.
guys like a girl thats aggressive. half the time he may have already figured it out, and then it just eliminates the awkwardness, the other half, he will have a good surprise, he'll be flattered, and if he rejects you it gets it off your chest, or he will feel a little guilty about the rejection and be nicer to you.

girls: how would you want to be asked out / confessed to / whatever you call it? (sorry if repeat)

A: The guy would hand me food I really like.
B: The guy would then look me directly in the eye
C: The guy would then confess.

If I HAD to get asked out, this is what I would want it to be like. The food is so I can get something out of it even if I don't like the fellow, the looking in the eye is so I can tell hes not lying or anything, and then the confessing is obvious. XDD

I'd be careful. If the guy likes you too much there might be some drugs in the food. Beware of anything you can't take home and eat later.

I think asking casually is best. if you know the girl and talk to her sometimes, then just something like "hey.. what are you doing this weekend? -insert movie title- came out and I was wondering if you wanted to see it with me" would work fine. if you don't really know the girl and you're just asking her out because you've admired her from afar or something like that, then anyway you ask it will seem kind of awkward. I'd recommend trying to be at least kind of friends with her first.

oh.. and I like Dragonfiremule's suggestion of having the guy look the girl straight in the eyes. the food.. well, whatever floats your boat. xP

Whenever I ask a girl out, I always make it seem like it could just be a friendly thing.

A question I have is; do you gilrs like guys more protective and controlling (not overly) or free and doesn't care much about what you do with others.

I'm a guy, but I can't understand why a girl would ever want to have an over-controlling guy in a relationship. I can go into a big psycho-babble rant about it, but basically he is a catalyst for massive drama.

Question about girls admitting to liking guys: Hell yeah, go for it. You'd be surprised, or maybe not, but a lot of boys act like little 12 year old girls when it comes to the dating game. If a girl ended up admitting liking me to my face I would probably fall for them just because I wouldn't have to take initiative. I'm that introverted and scared of rejection, yes.

protective is nice. controlling is not. there's a really thin line between the two and you have to make sure not to overstep it. =P like being a little jealous of other guys is okay, but saying that you don't want her to hang out with other guys is over-controlling. (most) girls want freedom to make their own decisions, but they like the little signs that you care. if a guy is trying to flirt with your girlfriend, then yeah, be a little protective, like put your arm around her or something to show that she's taken. I think that's really cute. ^_^

I have a question.

Would you ladies be attracted to a man who plays the guitar? And if so, is there a specific set of songs one(read: I) should learn?

as long as the guy doesn't have an awful personality and he's actually good at it, then yes. being able to play the guitar is a definite plus. ^_^

any corny romance songs should work. think along the lyrics of "hey there delilah" by the plain white t's. well.. maybe not quite that cheesy and overplayed. use your judgement there, I guess.

Me? No. There are tons of guys who try to learn guitar just to impress girls. It's not like they're passionate about guitars, they just want to look cool...which in turn, totally makes them lame. XD

Guys who play guitar and don't flaunt it every single second, however, are okay. 😛

I llike protective. =). Controlling to some degree.
Because if you're too free, she'll lose intrest in you. =x.

I wouldn't feel any attraction at all. To me, playing the guitar is like reading. If I see you reading I won't talk to you. xD! Though if you make me sit down and listen to you, it's a definite turn-off. If I see you on the streets quietly playing then that's a turn on. =).
