1. Mm.... I'm more attracted to people who are really smart, a little weird, and if they don't look down on people. (I don't know why. People who look down on others is a big turn off for me)
   But realistically, I guess I generally go for the guy who's nice and around my intelligence level (if he's way smarter than me, I feel kinda bad for not getting things as fast, and if he's way not as smart as me, I feel a little bad for getting things faster than he does @_@)

to get him talking, ask him questions that are intresting, or really simple ones to see if perhaps he has a story to tell?

for instance:

You: So , do you have any siblings?

shy guy: Yes. I have two sisters, a brother...

you: What are ur sisters like?

and so on.

It makes conversation. ;D

Ok im a guy, im not shy. but Ive have been in situations like this. You need to make sure he knows how you feel. Alot of guys have trouble reading all the signals you girls consider easy to see. All guys want to kiss, want to hold hands, and eventually want to have sex. Sometimes hes just afraid you dont. shyness in general is based on fear. The fear people wont like who you really are, All you can do is provide a comfoartable enviroment, let him know you want to know who he is and make sure he know that you want the relationship to progress. Getting him to talk is the most importain part, an inability to comunicate is a strong sighn that you are not compatable with each other. Remember you can get to know a person but you can never really change who they are.

Oh. That made me think of another question: Is it okay for girls to take the lead? Or does that make her seem perverted or slutty or anything?

Confidence and leadership are universal characteristics associated to men. Men who display those, are more wanted by the sorrounding females. It's instinctive.

A man who is bossed around by a women is less respected by women, even if they say it's not true.

That doesn't mean that the girl can lead the boy, but the best is when both cooperate in a realatioship with equal status. Maybe with slightly more leadership from the boy.

Anyway, a leading girl is not perverted or slutty. Usually slutty girsls are the ones who are easily lead. 😛

Well, psychologically, and definitely physically, guys are a bit different than girls. Most guys are dominant.

What I'm saying is that men and women have differences. They have the same rights and deserve the same respect. And by "leadership", I don't mean "superiority" or "dominance". Leadership occurs naturally. Even in a simple group of friends, there will always be one or two who are the natural leaders. I'm just saying that males, due to their genetic build, have more tendency to lead (some say that's because when we were cavemen, men was stronger, so had to lead and protect the females and children). Even if with rules and society some primitive instincts are not really that necessary, we have them. You, as a girl, will be more atracted to a confindent and leading man. It's our nature 🙂

Hm, I don't want to be anal but I really disagree with that. Yes, men and women have differences... I'm not arguing against that. I'm saying that I think it's wrong that guys should take lead of the relationship solely because of those differences. It really depends on the person, not the sex. I don't think it's in their genetic makeup either, in matriarchal society, it's the females who take lead, no? (edit: um, no it is there, but it isn't...ack, that's for another topic lol)

And as I said, rules (laws) and society can reshape our basic instincts. But we will have those insticts for a long time. Male leads the girls. And you can see for yourself the bahaviour of men and women all around you. Another education and a change of belief systems could alter that? Maybe. Most probably.

Honestly, for me no... As a guy will drop a hot girl for a cute one, the figure is bonus but the face is has to be pleasing.
