i didn't vote nothing to vote for though it wouldn't really matter it be like voting between dumb and dumber
Than vote for dumb. Why would you want dumber win?

Of course I voted. Think it doesn't matter? Try imagining the world if George W. Bush hadn't been elected in 2000. I'm not saying it would have been all sunshine and flowers, but it certainly wouldn't be this sad state of affairs.

My college roommates and I all did our absentee ballots a few weeks ago (well, those that could vote and were voting absentee). And it's not like I'm sharing a big secret if I say I voted for McCain (after all, I am wearing a McCain-Palin T-shirt as we speak and the fact that I absolutely LOVE Palin is no secret).
I did get to vote two years ago, as well, for reps for congress and a new state govenor, but it was my younger brother's first time voting ever. He got up at 5:30 and didn't get out until 7:30 (when he called me and woke me up to tell me that he "exercised my right to vote for Obama. J/K. I actually voted green party." In reality, he's as crazy conservative as I am).

Yes! It was my first presidential election, so exciting (even though I did it by absentee ballot a week ago).

I found this incredibly comical after reading this statement, and then reading your name.

You're not the only one who thinks I'm insane because of my political views. Although that's probably one of the saner aspects of me...

Yep, voted at about 8:15 am, between taking the baby to daycare & going to work. 😀
The line was out the door, along the side of the building, across the parking lot, and along the other side of the parking lot, but it moved pretty quickly. I've never seen this kind of participation in an election before, and I've been voting for 19 years now. 😃
Edit: Voted Obama, in spite of the fact that my state will almost certainly go for McCain. Even if my one vote doesn't make any difference in the electoral votes, it will still go on record for the popular vote, plus there were many other local races that were well worth voting in.

I live in a democratic safe seat, more communists than republicans lol.

Not American, so not election day here.
Not that I'd vote if I were. I really can't stand the whole American voting system/the way politics are handled there in general. I much prefer the Canadian system.
But I don't vote here either.

I can't vote in my country either, since I'm never there whenever there's an election.
Absentee vote?
O_O Oh yea!
Hm, Don't know if we have it though. I'll ask~!
