The only manga that I can recall seeing a fairy (as a developed character) was in Lost Boys, but I don’t think this is the one you are looking for. I almost want to say Boku Dake no Ousama..? I can’t be certain. Was this manga fantasy, modern... or both? Do you know what the magical character looked like (small or human sized, wings, etc)?

I actually adore fairies myself, so if anyone has yaoi/shounen-ai recommendations, I would love to hear them (to avoid spamming this topic just pm me)

Hmm, as far as I remember, a fairy was a young boy, the seme was an adult man, I think. There was sth about them being together [?] but the seme was quite reluctant. Few chapter later we have new characters, a young prince/master [he has black hair] and his servant and they were after the fairy or seme I really don't remember. I have no idea why but I think it was CJ Michalski's work, but I have checked and she has one story with a cupid and it's not what I'm looking for T-T

I was just flipping through this manga again for another topic and I ran across chapter 7 The Power of a Kiss, and thought of this question. The uke is a fairy who can only take form in a full moon and after he gets kissed. The seme is all embarrassed that he kissed him so he is a bit hesitant with his feelings at first. It is only a chapter long though- very short.
