the love interest was err a beautiful girl who he first meet....

basically the MC was transfered to other school and somehow he meet this girl , the girl was nice to him and they meet when MC was doing jogging track.(he loves jogging). She have long hair

then at school he meet her, and somehow the girl turned cold and his classmate told him that she was a bitch, have a bad reputation and such, she even smoke??(i think). But she have beautiful face, and she looks so mature looking and the guy loves idolize her, which make her hate it and gone cold behaviour till the other girls in her class spread bad rumour and bully her.

MC feels weird how can a nice girl he just meet yesterday that smile to him, suddenly goes 180 deegre cold and scary.

Another one was MC childhood friend with short hair or what, who loves him i think.

The scene i remember was the MC managed to time travel and meet with the long hair girl. In the end he solve her problem and when the MC goes to present, the long hair girl say she have a crush when she was a child with this guy(it was the MC, both did not know the truth and the MC get jealous at himself lol).

i think the ending was the long hair girl goes to airport to go somewhere and in the end when the MC was jogging and counting the stair case to 99 , the long hair girl who just come back say "silly, it was 100 steps" and in the end they both kiss.

this manga was very old i think it was around 1995-2003 -ish
