I enjoy a lot of his songs...but listening to his songs when he was younger...his voice seems so much stronger...or is it just me?

Probably the nosejobs that changed his sound. I prefer his 'Thriller' album above everything else, and 'Bad' wasn't too bad, but I didn't like his work much after that.
His Jackson 5 work is OK - a better sound than his late work IMO.
