Ah, that's because male fish fertilize indirectly, kinda spray out a cloud that fertilizes the eggs I believe. So visible equipment may not be necessary

I think you guys should not be thinking about it too much. You could go crazy if you're trying to find logical explanation for non logical events. Just enjoys the wacky characters Oda presents us. 😀

You're right. Besides, it seems like the only real world rules that apply in One Piece are "People need air to breathe, food to eat, and water to drink in order to survive." 🤣
I'm still freaking out though how someone with a frail body like that could birth a child that huge and survive...

If I remember correctly, Oda said Fishmen's are mammals, so they give birth the way humans do. But Otohime is a Merfolk, right?
