I barely did some editing for Campione in Baka Tsuki so maybe my words don't have weight, but I can firmly say: Better story = more hype= faster translations. Really. Its not if we like it but if the TLers like it.

Also, RL issues always dominate a TLer's life. Despite a warm reception, a light novel may not be touched for weeks if the TL cant make time for it.

As much as it pains me to wait until September 20th (if even that) to finish reading all the volumes, I have to respect the translators and editors for giving their spare time for something that benefits US.

If it helps, I log into baka-tsuki everyday and post my thanks on the forums.

ya harry, you can see that on page 35 i believe in the forums of HSDxD in bakatsuki, since now they have a new translator called Eternal Dreamer, who is working on vol 5 right now (and he finished vol 4 just a few days ago), things are going in a good peace.... getting vol 5 to 12 translated by September might not be impossible after all 😀

Eternal Dreamer substituted for Akuma, who now backed out because of some rude pr*ck who pissed him off. If Akuma was also in on this, we would be in a very good position. From his work, I can tell that this guy worked wonders. Akuma backed out, Eternal Dreamer came in. We're back at square one. But the good news is that Eternal Dreamer is no less hard working than Akuma.

Another good news is that Code-Zero recently made a post on the forums saying that after May, he is going to have a lot of spare time and posted a schedule of which volumes he plans to translate IF HE WAS WORKING ALONE. And voila, the schedule ends at September with the release of volume 13. The better news? The entire translation of all volumes might get done faster since he is in collaboration with Eternal Dreamer and Amario. zzhk also recently joined the fray; he is translating volume 9, according to Code-Zero himself. 😀

Volumes 1~6, 8, 9, 11, and 12 are fully translated. Volumes 7 and 10 are not done but they are either almost done or halfway done. Seems like finishing everything even before September seems really plausible.

Sup! things are going really well, vol 7 was completed not long ago and vol 10 is half way done, if things keep going well, the whole novel might be translated even before september 20!!!
And after they get vol 13, most expect that it will be done in 2 months or less. And then we have to wait for vol 14, sadly the novel vols come out twice a year, so next vol 14 will be around december or earlier 2013 😀 😀
