Currently the visual novel translation scene is experiencing a boom. In fact, it is not unlike the Anime fansubbing scene about 10-15 years ago. There has probably been more visual novels released in English (by the community) these past two years than there has been in the past decade.
So I thought this would be a good time to promote the hard work of some of these people who put in so much effort to bring us the games.
Over the past week, I have attempted to contact all 75 fan translation groups in existence and managed to score 29 interviews. All of the people I spoke to are fan translators. Some of them are famous (Ixrec, Moogy), others are lesser known. Please check out http://www.visualnovelaer.wordpress.com and leave a comment for the interviewees to show your support. And for those of you who are wondering, Yes. Rewrite is getting translated too!
