My friend mentioned a manga to me today she seems to have forgotten the title of and had been searching for years for (15+).

The most iconic thing she remembers is that the protagonist/heroine cries flower petals? She couldn't really elaborate on the plot since it was so long ago and she never got to finish. I assume it's classic shoujo, based on the one image she showed me. It looked like maybe Rose of Versailles or Utena... or something similar art-style wise.

Any recommendations would be wonderful. Thanks in advance
