Question about the asterisk next to manga name!

Hi,
I've never posted here before and I have been trying to look for the reason why there is an asterisk next to certain manga on my list. I just noticed it this week.
Sorry if this is a dumb question!

If you'll scroll down to the bottom of the page, you'll find this:
An asterisk (*) denotes series information has been updated within the last 24 hours.
Does that answer your question?
