Ever felt that you're not quite getting the tasks you could do very well? That people are asking the questions to the wrong people while you're just standing there looking at them? That you have this crushing feeling that most people are bad judges of faculties?

No, definitely not, but I think people give me too much credit for some things. I've always been given a lot of responsibilty and completed the required tasks efficiently. I guess since that was the way it had been all my life, it was just second nature and there was no need to make a big deal out of it. Or maybe I'm just a tad modest.

Lol... I am actually not underestimated but actually OVERestimated... My friends think that i can score all As for my subjects except Chinese...
But for me, that is impossible... I am not that smart... but actually... i am just an average person 🙁
So dear friendsT_T please don't overestimate me...

What a mental image!

To be honest, I've never gave something like this a lot of thought, but I think that something like being underestimated has worked to my advantage in the past. Whether as a source of determination to be/get better and prove them wrong, or get out of an otherwise troublesome task.

I think it's usually the opposite for me~ 🤣

However, when I do get underestimated, it's often grossly so... I've been told a couple of times that I don't look smart at all O_O I know I'm not that intelligent, but my ditzy-ness probably makes people assume that I have a single digit IQ or something.

How do you call it when someone tells you you're actually smart only to make you feel better because they perceive you as...slightly limited?

People often think I'm pretty dumb. But I really don't care what other people think. The world is ruled by prejudices.

Sometimes, I guess that is because of my looks (I look younger and clueless Ô_Ö, and weak). So I get the "So you could do that!" or the more annoying "So you have strenght" 🤣

weeell.....i guess you could see that happening at just about any work place >_>; i work in a lab, and seniors are constantly down grading us juniors 🙁 we work harder than them!!! and they get all the praise....sigh atleast the money is good~

Mostly Underestimated... I don't give a damn about it too... I just do stuff the way I want and live the way I want

Sometimes, normally when people think i'm unsociable,almost never in study or love.Anyhow, there's still time when one or two of my friends think i'm dumb cause i mess up their experiment.

Intellectually, I'm never underestimated even though I'm smart. (Hmm... does that mean I look like a nerd? XD)
But I do have qualities that few people know of. That doesn't bother me most of the time, though.
