I don't think we started point scoring yet and on that note, how bout we award points to the image posters? Its hard work trying to find images for people to guess you know. The scoring of the pictures can be 1base point and more points depending on the amount of incorrect guesses. Kinda like what supernova suggested.

I like the idea of giving points to contributions (Because I have been doing a lot of those lol). But I think we should keep them in a different ranking system.
We could rank scores for the guesses and have at the same time a best contributors ranking. (meaning we'd have to different rankings)
Because I don't think it would be fair otherwise. I have posted a lot of pictures but only guessed twice, while other people have been guessing like mad. They deserve to get the top ranking right?
And about the guesses scoring system, I don't know how we'd do this but I'd like it to be put in a way where new arrivals shouldn't feel like they need to climb the Everest to get up in the ranking... (Maybe I'm asking to much but I want this thread to attract the new members to).
Anyway we still haven't heard a lot of oppinions on this matter... Does this mean the others don't care?

I've read the series up to the last release already, it's just that my mind automaticly puts anything older than 24h in an archive file. And I never acces those again unless something reminds me of it. Unless it is something "remarkable"... And except the hairy legs that image wasn't that "remarkable". I mean it's standard manga humour.

that is an interesting idea. even though i had to read it 5 times to make sure i understood what you are trying to do. lol

not sure if this will be of any help but it's worth a shot. on a similar site they had this game where you the starting poster or whoever posted an image and everyone tried to guess. and for the winner who guessed right they chose that person next to post an image.

i'm going out on a limb here, so forgive me if it sounds insane. and it's all imaginary so bear with me >.>

i guess one way to using a points system would be to award points to the poster, points such as

"funnyness of the the character" 5 points
"character caught in awkward situation" 1 point
"hilarity of the situation" 10 points
"most tense moment" 3
"scariest face/ character" 1 point
"saddest panel" 6 points
"funniest face" 8 points
"silliest word"

etc...

as for contributors or guessers, they can be awarded points based on their accuracy, correctness, err this harder...@_@

I don't think sakura-rose's idea is bad or anything but i think its a little too complex for our simple guessing game xD.
Then again i just went through 8hours of doing physics,chemistry and ecomonics assignments. 🤢

Good thinking Sakura, but as Swegg already said, it's probably too much for our little game with little popularity... And who would have to be in charge of giving scores? with barely more than 5 regular participants.
Anyway, welcome, and I hope you enjoy it in here (and sorry if my English isn't that good, but all that matters is that you finally got the message right?).
