I really like the designs of a lot of the creature and monsters in 3x3 Eyes, and I was wonder if there were other series with similary designed monsters (I don't mean in the art style, I mean in the concept of the designs).

I don't know if this counts but Yumekui Merry has some interesting designs. Generally humanoid but some really weird ones too. And even the humanoids have very distinct and unique characteristics.
