Firefox 3.6.X has had major reliability issues. I've been on a crusade around my school, which is still XP-Based, to get rid of that particular version. Crashes every half hour, and that's at best. IE8 and IE9 are what i use, and i've only had three semi-serious crashes in the last two years. Using Chrome is out of the question due to my computer's limited resources. (2G of Laptop DDR2 Ram doesn't go very far these days. -_-) So IE has the best blend of Speed, Stability, and Size for what i put my computer through, what with video editing.

I switched back to Chrome. I just like it too much! Hehe.
Nope, Firefox.

I originally used Netscape many years ago, but once it became bloated I switched to Internet Explorer. After getting infected by maleware several times through IEs numerous security flaws though I switched Firefox and have been using it pretty much since its inception.
Firefox has been annoying me recently with its memory leaks so I have tried Safari and Opera, but nostalgia always ends up bringing me back to Firefox. With the discovery of noscript and various other addons I have become almost inseparable with Firefox.

I've used Chromium/Chrome on an old AMD Turion laptop with 512MB RAM and it ran stable for quite a few hours. Wasn't zippy by any means, but was more than usable. Only time it bogged down was when I had multiple youtube tabs opens while on battery power (since the CPU freq was scaled back to 'powersave' mode). You might want to look at what other resources your OS or related apps are sucking up.
Most people (not just limited to serious/power users) consider Chromium/Chrome way more 'netbook-friendly' than IE and Firefox, and we all know how anaemic netbooks are, CPU and RAM wise.

Mozilla, the only one that works for me (extensions, speed, though it usually hangs)
Chrome just won't work with me and IE, idk... 😔

Eh. I often Multi-task, running Gmail and Facebook combined runs me at about 200-300M at full throttle. Facebook alone on Chrome cost me 400M, and that's something i can't afford. IE9, streamlined like i use it, zips along pretty quickly. I refuse to touch Firefox, but i'll use Chrome in a brief pinch.

actually firefox, but I have to use internet explorer because firefox refuses to open some links 😔
in my opinion firefox has a better design and runs more smoothly on my computer
EDIT: after noticing that explorer can't open some links on sqiby, I changed back to firefox. (well, I rather have problems with firefox than ie 😀 ) ... How could I ever have doubted firefox?!! 😔 It runs so much faster and even blocks some of the annoying adverts. worships okay, but it refuses to put the smileys into this text... ... I think I can handle that, though.

Internet Explorer 8 (well, it was 7 a bit ago, but it got updated >.>...).
The only one I've ever used, so I don't really know (or care) if there's anything better out there, because it works fine for me (for the most part, sometimes my internet stops working and closes, but I can just reopen it, and all my previous tabs were saved, so not really a big deal unless I was writing something.)

Did I mention opera has widgets, skins and zooming as well as tons of other features.
Same with chrome- and see the browsers discrption. CHROME IS THE FASTEST AS THEY COME

OmniWeb, and why the heck mangaupdates doesn't work on Safari to me?
Softness overcomes all the hardness in the world, whatever in psychology or in physics, it's no lie.
Soft guy makes tough guy become soft, may it be visible or not, inside of him becomes soft, it's just metter of time. Same with rock, water makes the rock dull. Water is adaptable and without shape, if you put it in tea cup it'll become a tea cup, if you put it in can it'll become can.

Chrome doesn't win speed competitions. Overall Opera tends to run faster than any other browser overall, especially when loading five or more tabs at start up, with Firefox close behind.
That said, I use Opera, not because of it being a tenth of a second faster than competition, but rather because it just works, and at the time I switched from Firefox, it wasn't randomly deleting my browsing history. >.> Very conservative design with a side panel for things like bookmarks so instead of reducing the amount of a web page you can see on the screen, it just takes up the real estate on the side that isn't used because of the standard 744px width for website design. I haven't gotten any widgets because it has everything I need out of the box. I can block ads, talk in irc, access favorite sites with more ease with speed dial, opera dragonfly is equivalent to firebug, and manage torrents without ever having to download third party content that would make the browser slower or require more resources.

I prefer Mozilla Firefox as compared to Internet Explorer. For some reason I get an error when I try to install Chrome 🤢
