Used to used Firefox, but Chrome is better now. FF seems so buggy and slow now... Maybe I could solve this with a couple add-ons, but whatever. Chrome's lightning-fast loading is nice for reading manga online.

Chrome. I directly went from IE to Chrome, so I can't really say it's the best browser. Though I could say that IE is trash compared to Chrome.

I have always used Internet Explorer on Windows, so it became like a habit, but even when I tried Firefox, I didn't really like it because it always seemed kind of simple & outdated, while IE had that modern, edgy, fancy look they keep improving, & I don't really care about extensions & techy stuff.
As for Chrome, I think Google should just stick to being a search engine. What's with all the products in its name?

Well, this poll was created in 2007. The OP even talks about IE 6. I wonder what 'Mosaic' is, though, & that one person that voted it . . .

I just died a little inside.
Even if you don't care about "techy stuff", being able to customize your browser with extensions makes it so much more functional for the individual user, add extra privacy features so you're not being tracked every site you go on, block ads... I genuinely don't know how I survived with a vanilla browser before. I'm also baffled how you think Firefox is "outdated" (for me, that will always be how IE looks), but surely "simple" is a pro when it comes to a browser? If it's too "simple" you can simply customise it to your liking. Meanwhile, IE lags behind on performance compared to other browsers.
But, eh. I guess it's your choice which browser you use. I'm a Chrome user, myself.

Firefox with adblock plus and noscript plug-ins on my desktops. Opera Mobile and its urlfilter on phones and tablets. It's nice being able to block ads and links.

Chrome has tons of extensions too.
I'm using Chrome right now so I'd say that, but I find its performance pretty much equal to Firefox's. I only switched over because the most important extension I used with Firefox has a slightly better version on Chrome.
Well mines are pretty unique to be accurate. Many developer tools and lots of scripts and some costumized exts.
I can still switch to chrome but s such a pain in the ass to arrange and customize.I got like 50 exts and over 100 scripts running in firefox. So it slows down firefox a little. I use chrome for when i need sth urgent. But mainly firefox.

I use Firefox in my normal browsing for the extensions like Adblock, Noscript, and Requestpolicy as well as some other functions I use. I switch to IE when a particular site clashes with FF or as is occasionally required for updates from Microsoft.
