Thank in advance for any recommendations

I am looking for a Series to read. What I am looking for would be something along the lines of a "Guy Meets Special Girl" "Guy Becomes Special" series but I would like them to be in a relationship or feel like a couple fairly early in the series as the series goes about a good action plot type story. (No endings with them becoming a couple Plz) I prefer Supernatural/Fantasy but anything actiony along the lines is fine with a sorta romance subplot if you would call it that. (Syfy is ok) I just pref no recommendation of the Shoujo / Josei or Yaoi / Shounen Ai. mature/gore/nudity all is fine with me mainly looking for the above with a good plot. My list should be open to view but I don't mind if you re-recommend something I already have reading or following

It's what you're looking for, but the romance is verrry slow as it is really a subplot to the whole series...
