I have a really weird idea and I have no idea if it'll even work, and when I searched around I only found hacks on how to make DVD players region free, which doesn't help me with my idea.

Let's begin. I want to introduce my cousins to Digimon, but personally I don't like the English dub, it's too mean spirited. But the Japanese DVDs are really expensive and I doubt their parents would put on something they can't read the title of at first glance. Then I got a weird idea. This box-set is cheaper than one Japanese season collection alone:

Including to that won't I deny that it looks pretty badass. Then I got this idea, and do any of you know if it's possible... to hack the DVDs so the menus and stuff are intact, but the videos are the Japanese ones (with subs), and are playable on DVD players still. In other words, exchange videos. Is this possible? Thanks for your time. 🙂
