yeah the site's great.

Advice: if the manga came out like a day before, you may have to check the pictures tab for the manga. sometimes it takes a day to get the chapter tab up.

That IS a good site. If I'm going to d/l crapscans I might as well not download them at all. I'm just going to use that site from now on. Thanks! 😀

I read whichever one comes out first, but if a chapter is really good, or it has a lot of plot-relevant text, I sometimes will get all the different scanlations to read since they are all somewhat different.

It sometimes helps understand things better by looking at all the translations...you can extrapolate your own meaning, i guess.

I read whichever one is the first with at least lq/mq next to it from mangahelpers. When JapFlap releases I download their HQ.
Des does pretty good quick releases and so does cowbouy.

Japflap. I read NarutoBuzz once before I found out Japflap was still doing Naruto. The quality was so bad, half the time I didn't know what the hell was going on. <.<

I just recently started reading Naruto scans so I only know Shannaro.

Is JapFlap that good? Or maybe I should stick to Shannaro?

bludshock seems to be the best speed scanlation at the moment. Just look at the difference between bludshock's and NarutoBuzz's latest chapter, 358.

Quite a big difference between the two.

Usually, I go for the first one out, but that's Bludshock (sp?). They're very good as well. (Why isn't that in the poll?)

Because in general, speed scanlations come and go. Also, bludshock wasn't scanlating noticeably when this poll was first made. (And no, I won't update it with a new choice. It'll throw the whole poll out of balance.)

A just ruler amongst tyrants

Having just finished my 3rd year of Japanese at the University of Oregon I must say 日本語＞英語　but I do read the bludshock afterwards in cases of kanji I don't know/couldn't make of becasue of quality.

Comments:I'm following and archiving this one:Smallest filesize, good picture quality, best typesetting - SFX are "translated" and explained, they even have culture notes... And they don't translate those annoying comments at end of chapter, so it feels almost like reading volume scans...

Btw, isn't it odd that speed scanlators have far better quality than "HQ" scanlation groups?
