Her doctor advised her to take it easy, basically. More recently, she designed characters for Valvrave the Liberator.

And there never were plagiarism issues. Those were just rumours. I read that article. The cover of Zone was a bit shifty, but the Obata thing isn't, since she used to be Obata's assistant.

There is the health issue. As mentioned in the previous post, she have wrist issue. There is also the issue with the publisher. Remember how the story was featured in the weekly jump, but then the series was put on hiatus and when it came back, it was moved to the monthly issue. Well now the spot that D Gray Man use to be was taken over by another series.
