I've heard tell it's polite to introduce oneself upon first meeting. This is the first time I've ever seen Baka-Updates (is there any way to shorten that?) so this can technically be considered a first meeting. Yes. So. At the risk of this running on to the point where I babble so much that people stop reading...:

Hi there. Just call me snarkish. No deep meaning in that, really. (Should there be?) I've been steadily reading manga for several years now, and am really glad to have found this place (albeit a few years late) in order to better keep up with everything that goes on in the vast, ever-changing, fast-paced world of manga.

Seriously, this is a great site. I only discovered it 20 minutes ago and I know it's an incredibly useful and fun place to be.
